Card Patterns ~

For Card Patterns sketch 39 challenge, I used
Graphic 45 Christmas Past Collection.

~Merry Christmas~

If you haven't worked with Graphic 45 yet, look for it. The weight is beautiful.

I used Graphic 45 pp, die cut tag & tiny angel die cuts, MM brad, Melissa Frances sparkly holly that I sanded and inked, Inkadinkado stamp & Offray ribbon.

Thanks to the Card Patterns girls for this fun challenge.

Caardvarks ~

The challenge at Caardvarks is to create a tall card.

Almost everything on mine is Heidi Grace. I saw this patterned cardstock at jo-ann's and thought it would be so sweet to use for birthday cards. And, since there are 5 birthdays in our family between now and Christmas, it works. This card is for my sister, Amy.

Also used a Fiskars border punch and added a prima w/a prima pearl and some AC thickers. A simple, tall card.

Thanks for lookin'!

brothers & sister ~

A lay-out I love. Probably because I love these guys so much. My hubby & his 3 brothers & sister. The hubs (Tommy) is all the way to your left in the yellow shirt.

This photo (which is clear IRL) totally cracks me up. Tommy & his brothers were up on the deck, relaxing...when I grabbed my camera. Well, of course they started messing around (which included doing inappropriate things...look at them. You can imagine). Tommy's sister joined them and I got some good shots. I am saving the best shot of them all for their mother. She's going to get it in a frame for Christmas.

Mixed up some old & new product. Old: CI pp, SR sticker, HS chip heart. New: MM pp, Prima flowers, bling & plastic black flowers & pearls.
thanks for stoppin' by,

aLmoSt 3 ~

Isn't it the nicest feeling when you've been away from scrapping for a while, and you sit down and make a page and then you love it and want to share? (yeah...that may be a run-on sentence...)

I love to scrap just for me. No challenge, just doin' it.

This is our curly head nephew, Jordan. He only had one melt down while at the apple orchard. :) He identified each & every tractor on the half hour drive to the orchard. Didn't miss one!
happy scrappin' ~

Card Patterns ~ merry christmas

I love this sketch!

I knew right away that I wanted to stitch some beads onto this card.
The beads I chose are made by Bead Treasures, purchased from Hobby Lobby.
I really like that they lay flat on the card.

They remind me of multi-colored lights on a Christmas tree.

The patterned paper is by Bo Bunny (is this sweet pp, or what?), sticker is from Scenic Route, ribbon is Offray, and the punch is by Fiskars.

Thanks for stoppin' by,

Card Patterns ~

Sketch #36

I thought this was a funky feeling sketch and just had to give it a go.

Here's what I came up with.

I started w/Bazzill cardstock and cut & stitched down an acrylic overlay. Next, I covered an old piece of FP chipboard w/new graphic 45 pp (so love it!). Used my new Inkadinkado stamp, stitched on top of the chip piece, and pop dotted a cut out butterfly. The butterfly has 3 Darice beads stitched on.

Thanks for the challenge, Card Patterns' people! :)

2 Sketches 4 You ~

Here's my interpretation of this week's sketch by Kazan.
I used Basic Grey & Scenic Route pps, an Inkadinkado stamp, MM chip circle piece (which has a heart cut out...I covered & stitched some pp on top), BG felt ladybug and Prima pink pearls.
It's a sweet feeling card...and that's just what I was going for.
Thanks for comin' by ~

Okay...seriously, this blog of mine is feeling very lame. And neglected.

In an attempt to get back into it, I'm uploading a "just because" card.

Found the challenge at Catherine's blog here
http://myscrappyfloor.blogspot.com/

My kind of challenge - easy. LOL! {thanks, Catherine!}

I am loving this paper by Graphic 45! Added some primas and a grunge dragon fly sprinkled w/glitter.

So, now I challenge you to make a "just because" card. No requirements...just a card made however you feel like makin' it! Hop on over to Catherine's and link it up there too.
