Card-A-Licious ~

I'm happy to have completed another card challenge.
This one is from http://cardalicious.blogspot.com/ The challenge #11 was to use a tag and the colors orange & green. I immediately thought of this Creative Imaginations stuff I have in my stash. Used up the scraps of pp, the tags, a sticker & some buttons. Added a piece of Offray ribbon and voila! A card w/a tag, green & orange. I really like this card. It feels spunky.

2 Sketches 4 You...

The site 2 Sketches 4 You site has been in my favorites for a while now. This is, however, my first time participating in the sketch of the week. I shy away from sketches. I always end up straying away too much. (Call me a rebel, call me what you will, say I'm old fashioned, say I'm over the hill ---which seriously, would all be true-- anybody know this song?)

Okay, back to 2 Stetches. Here we go.
Sketch #18. Let's celebrate.

DCWV goes green.

So, I'm walking through joann's, just browsing, when out of the corner of my eye, I spy this chipboard. I go to it...pick it up and see all of the adorable animals and notice that it is 40% off. MUST HAVE! Had to get the small matching pp set too. Honestly, this stuff is so darn adorable! Made w/70% recycled materials.
Here it is. I'm not sure if it's a new product or not, but I've never seen it at my joann's. (There is even a little skunk in there!)

You already know the rest of the story. I had to make some cards.

This bear w/the big claws just cracks me up. I love the sweet little bear holding the flower and even though the owl looks a tiny bit wasted, I still think he is cute!

Like this wicked cute card that I got back from CARDS last week.

Post number two on day one. LOL!

I am home from We B Scrappin', which is my scapbooking store in Cicero, NY.
It's the only cool scrappin' store within an hour's drive of my house. I love it there.
Anyway, today I bought two new to me scrappy things. #1) Grungeboard. #2) Glimmer Mist. Fun stuff!

I'm holding out for my cuttlebug purchase. Got a 50% off coupon for AC Moore for next Saturday. If it snows, I'll have Tommy bring me in the truck. hee, hee.


Plan to get in touch w/some scrappin' friends to try to set up a day w/table time at We B. I want to make a book of our November Aruba trip. Soon. Very soon!
