{9 p.m. christmas eve} My lo is my 9 year old nieces, Elly and Sky. It was 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and they were full of it! LOL!!
{side note: won't it be a riot to show them this lo when they're 16 year olds? HA!!!}
Lay-out materials ~ the base is light pink Bazzill, pps - very old "twitterpated" s*e*i (pink), jillibean soup and AC (green), flower cut from crate pp, "one of a kind" die cut RAK from Rita Barakat (thanks again, rita!!) - sprayed w/pink glimmer mist and I added BG ltr stickers to change it to "two of a kind", FP buttons w/MS baker's twine, misc. ric-rak, AC thickers, Sass green ltr stickers, Prima bling and machine stitching.

Next, tie 2 or 3 bows, leaving a bit of twine for your tails. Finally, clip the bows so that you have fuzzy, willy-nilly fun buttons. :)
Did you notice I did not complain about the snow in this post? I apologize to my blog readers for wearing my cranky snow pants as of late. {...and yes, it's snowing out there today and not even zero degrees, but we're not going to talk about it.} I'm smiling and scrapping the winter away. :)
To thank you all for coming by my blog day after winter day, I'd like to offer up this package of Martha Stewart baker's twine. What do you need to do to have me mail it to you? hmmm. Just leave me a comment and tell me if you like the buttons or not. You can not like them - that's perfectly okay! :) :) I {love} baker's twine!!! This package is extra in my stash...and I always feel so good to send out a RAK to someone.
So, happy Sunday night!! Hope you all have a good, hassle-free, productive week ahead! I'll choose a winner for the baker's twine in a couple of days. Thanks so much for being my blog friend - I {love} reading your comments and appreciate you stopping by!! :)
hugs, patti

Love the layout and the buttons are great i need to learn to add buttons and bakers twine to my cards and LO. It is cold and snowy here too, so a day in the carft/computer room is a must. You would think being raised in MO i would be used to the cold weather but no it hits me new every year. That or I am just getting (close your eyes Gasping here "old")
Thanks for sharing

I love the buttons! They look very fun and festive. Thanks for the tutorial, I have an upcoming challenge to do involving twine. It has given me some wonderful inspiration! You are so generous with your giveaways. I need to do one sometime soon! Happy Sunday Evening! :)
I also wanted to tell you that I love how you marked out the "One" of a kind to "Two" on your layout. Very playful!
I'm really enjoying your projects. Loved the mention of SBO the other day. Love the buttons and twine. All of rage now.
Love this Patti! You rocked the sketch!
Thank you for the tutorial!
And WOW ! Your page is Stunning, I really love it!
It has been frigid here in Massachusetts too. Love your layout page. The use of the buttons was a great idea.
I love buttons. I have a canning jar full of buttons that had belonged to my grandmother. Thanks for offering the MS baker's twine as a giveaway. I've never used baker's twine before.
I LOVE your buttons with the bakers thread, i use this thread all the time on my buttons, but never thought to do this...fabulous girl. And I'm glad you joined us at Tallyscrapper, its such a fun site :)
LOVE your pagemaps layout, too cute ;)
Patti this LO is SOOO much fun! I especially love how you "scribbled" out the one by stitching over it! Brillant! Such cute little nieces you have:) Great page.
oh my gosh I LOVE those buttons!!!! and that twine is quite the rage right now, so I LOVE what you've come up with!!! sooo super cute, love the page too :)
Patti, this layout is colorful & fun-just like the personalities of your beautiful neices! :) Great take on the sketch, my friend! The buttons are brilliant! :) I also have to say, marking out the "one" with your sewing machine was a stroke of genius!
Your version of the sketch is fantastic, Patti. Perfect pp for those jammies and yes, the girls may be a bit embarassed a few years from now, but they'll get over it and be secretly happy that their aunt thinks they're worth scrapbooking! Your layered buttons all tied up with string is one of my new favourite things - I'll definitley have to try this. What a wonderful giveaway you are doing too - so sweet of you.
They are adorable buttons Patti! Love your xmas eve layout, so fun!!!
I am seriously addicted to bakers twine so that button technique is right up my ally! Your layout it beautiful - what a great take on that sketch and I love your color choices. Thanks so much for all your sweet comments on my blog Patti! Welcome new follower - I'm a new follower of you, too! So glad to have found your blog :)
I just wanted to say thank you for the nice comment you left on my blog! It was very sweet, and it made me blush!
These are fabulous buttons-- I'd never have thought to tie more than one bow! I didn't even know MS made Baker's Twine!! Love the colors in the package you have! Thanks for the opportunity, Patti!
I found your blog via Paper Issues. I am not in love with the buttons. Too soon for that comment? I do love the rest of your creations though. You are super talented and I may be scraplifting soon.
omg, that layout is so cute. I saw the sketch on their website and blew it off becuase the small size of the photo, but seeing your example, I think I can do it now. Just use bigger photos than the 2x3. Love how your's turned out and that twine it super cute when you unravel it. Oh, and if you don't want anymore snow, just send it to Texas. I'd love to have a tiny little bit.
So cute and love the way you did the button. You layout is the greay...
