There is a challenge at Altered Art Junkies to alter a bag that only costs one dollar.
I saw this bag at our local milk quick stop place and thought, oh what the hell...I've got some cotton quilt squares, I'll see what I can come up with.
I machine stitched down the cotton fabric pieces and then hand stitched the flowers. For the simple flowers, I folded the fabric, ironed it and tied the center w/jute. The felt and button are Fancy Pants stash.
So, here's some pics of the bag. It's big and will hold a ton of stuff when I take Matthew to Aldi's.

OMGOSH Patti! Super cool bag! Love it1 I keep thinking I need to take bags like this to the grocery store to 'recyle and be green' but by the time I get a diaper bag and two kiddos in the car...I'm lucky if I remember my pruse! :)
